Vila Hand Prints burns to the ground

One of Vanuatu’s oldest buildings housing three different business has burned to the ground.

The Vila hand Print building as it is known around town was consumed by fire and completely destroyed. Hundreds gathered to witness the building burn.

Causes to how the fire started is not known. The building is fully made of timber thus the rapid spread of the fire. The building housed three different businesses all belonging to Gene Wong who also owns the Daily Post Vanuatu.

Vila Hand Print is Vanuatu’s biggest Screen printing company.
