Vanuatu national women’s cricket team captain, Selina Solman, is listed in the FairBreak Global XI to play against Wormsley Cricket XI from England end of this month.

FairBreak is a global initiative designed to create pathways for women to have better access to opportunities, education and high level performance roles.
On the 30th of May 2018, there will be a FairBreak Global XI against Wormsley Cricket XI from England.

Alexandra Joy Blackwell, a professional cricketer from Australia posted on twitter today saying 12 women from 11 different countries to form 1 team and will be captained by Suzie Bates who is a female cricketer from New Zealand White Ferns and plays for Adelaide Strikers and Southern Vipers.
Solman is the first national women’s cricketer from Vanuatu to go on an international player placement and play premier first grade cricket in Australia.
Vanuatu Cricket Association President Mark Stafford praised Selina for winning the spot.
