Opposition presents PM with offer to form GNU

In a meeting yesterday the 5th of November 2015, the Opposition Leader delivered the Oppositions proposal to Prime Minister Sato Kilman to forming a Government of national Unity (GNU).

In the offer, the Opposition state the government has 13 MP’s and the Opposition has 25 Mp’s so the opposition is entitled to 9 positions, plus the speaker position out of the 14 available positions.”

The Opposition has eight political party’s whilst the Government has six. The opposition has requested eight out of the thirteen ministries to reflect proportional distributions of MP’s from both sides.

The Opposition now awaits the PM’s reply to their offer.
