Clubs to benefit from First ever FIFA C License course

By Michael Ronny

The first ever FIFA C License coaching course has commenced this week Monday 6th and will end this Saturday 11th in Luganville.

According to Moise Poida who is currently in Luganville to assist the course, it is a milestone to have the course held outside Port Vila and it will benefit local clubs from different member associations.

“This C license FIFA coaching course has never been delivered from outside any capital or main city in any place. The main cities always host this course. It is one of FIFA’s seniors coaching training that is delivered by high-qualified recognized people. Luganville is so privileged to host the delegation and participants here and am sure they will benefit from the course.

The Vanuatu football Federation (VFF) office base in Luganville has confirmed that 30 participants have started the course Monday this week including 7 observers. This includes Sanma, Luganville, Penama, Shefa, Port Vila, Torba and participants who have attended similar course last year in Port Vila. Grassroots development officers attended the course as observers.

The C License FIFA Senior coaching Course will be run by, Didier Chambaron, FIFA Instructor and Oceania Deputy Technical Director and assisted by the VFF technical staffs.

Luganville Football President, Mr Sakias Boe, Says the idea to have the course held in Luganville also reflects the decentralization policy.
