The latest move aimed at growing the game of Australian Rules Football in Vanuatu has seen would-be coaches and umpires gather in Port Vila for a level one accreditation workshop.
The aim is for participants to go back to their own communities and introduce them to the sport as recreation, but also as a key component for improving their health and well being.

Overseeing the workshop were the AFL’s Development Manager for the South Pacific, Ben Drew, and the AFL Community Development Officer for Fiji, Simon Highfield who says Vanuatu has some catching up to do.
