The Vanuatu Tourism Office has been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious Australian Travel Awards – ATA, to be held in Sydney, on November 30, 2018.
The “Australian Travel Awards” program is designed to celebrate wholesalers, destinations, airlines, tourism boards, cruise lines, retailers and the myriad of other companies that make the travel industry.
The Vanuatu Tourism Office has been short listed for the SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR among, Air New Zealand, ANYDOKO for Hong Kong Tourism Board, Cummins & Partners for Tourism Western Australia, MediaCom for Princess Cruises, Tourism Australia, and Virgin Australia.
This category is for travel companies or their social media/advertising agency that have released a social media campaign in the past 12 months.
The Vanuatu Tourism Office Board has also been short listed for the TOURISM BOARD OF THE YEAR. Named in the list are, Gate 7 – Visit California, Hawaii Tourism Oceania, New Caledonia Tourism, South Australian Tourism Commission, Tourism New Zealand, and Tourism Fiji.
This category for tourism boards, both big and small, and is designed to reward the great work done amongst trade and consumers in their effort to raise a destinations’ profile and ultimately visitation.
The ATA is judged by more than 70 of Australia’s most experienced travel industry alumni and experts from the marketing sector, 37 categories cover the full gamut of the travel industry.
The awards will also offer travel brands the chance of winning an incredible advertising package worth $75,000 from which to market themselves.
