Stuart Beren, Former BSP CEO flees Vanuatu after facing charges

Court documents filed in a civil case by Police on the 27th of May, 2018, deposed that on 7 March Stuart Beren was arrested and charged with offenses including making false statements, perjury, deceiving witnesses and prostitution.

Mr. Beren who according to the document filed yesterday in Court was in the presence of his Lawyer Gary Blake when he was charged and released on an undertaking that he be present for court attendances.

Mr. Beren is now reported to have left the country and his lawyer Mr. Blake was overheard yesterday in court stating that ‘this was the first he heard about his client, Beren, leaving Vanuatu.’

It is expected that an arrest warrant will be issued for Mr. Stuart Beren.
