Seremiah: Productive sector must always get support

Minister for Agriculture Matai Seremiah has left Tanna after witnessing the first harvest of Potato Farming.

Seremiah says he is “feeling optimistic about the future of the productive sector.”

“The assessment and feed back from farmers are very promising and the Government must continue to provide support to farmers”

“The tiring week long tour through the farms on Tanna with the Team MALFFB is worth it.” says Seremiah.

Minister Seremiah also said that “MALFFB will announce venues to sell the first harvest next week and I appeal to everyone, staring from our leaders to show up and support the development of the rural economy which in the long run when maintained will hugely contribute to the national economy”
