Egyptian Prime Minister resigns after $1 million bribe allegations

The Prime Minister of Egypt has resigned after his cabinet was accused of receiving $ 1 million bribes.

Egyptian State Minister for Agriculture also resigned and was arrested by the Police. Though yet to be formerly charged, PM Mehlep has resigned amidst corruption probe.

Though the probe has just began, the Egyptian President has welcomed the resignation from Mehlep and his cabinet and says Justice will take its course.

Egypt’s government resigned Saturday the 12th Of September 2015.
